This is the 18th year of WOFEX in Cebu. The WOFEX Nationwide campaign always makes a stop in the Visayas because of the vibrancy and dynamism of the F&B and hospitality industries not only in the island but in the neighboring provinces as well.
It’s Time to Visit Cebu
Central Visayas logged 2.2 million tourists in the first half of 2023 – of this, Cebu’s share was 1.55 million. According to Department of Tourism (DOT) Secretary Christina Frasco, Cebu is now the most preferred destination among regional overnight travelers. The continuing surge of tourism in the province is one of the reasons why several Tourism Rest Areas (TRA) are set to be opened within the year. The first TRA was opened in Medellin and others will be built in Carmen, Carcar and Moalboal.
