According to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), Iloilo City marked an impressive economic growth showing a 10.5% increase on its gross domestic product (GDP) in 2023, making it the fastest-growing economy in Western Visayas and the second fastest-growing economy among all Highly Urbanized Cities in the country. This was attributed to the robust services sector, which contributed 87.7% to the city’s GDP.
